So another year gone. Wow, and it only feels like I've been blogging for four months. Crazy. Yeah so somehow my last Christmas Message to the Nation didn't seem as merry as I wanted it to be. I have uncovered that I was actually possessed by the Anti-Claus (pictured above) last year which rendered this humble Anime Snob into an Anime Jerk, and they have their own web-site thank goodness! At any rate I would like that thank all my loyal readers whom I can all now locate globally thanks to the magic of Google Analytics. Let me have a look at that now (it's my first time, I'm kinda excited!)...
Ahem. Well. There aren't as many... *sigh* of you as I had imagined... Sometimes the truth hurts, especially when the truth is spelled out in about 26 graphs and charts with Defined Funnel Navigation and CPC vs. Organic Conversion numbers in black and white. All this data, which I fear isn't worth the electricity used to generate it, points to a very real, yet inconvenient truth. Anime Snobs hasn't lit the internet aflame yet but there are bright spots relatively speaking.
Singapore, a fine country if I say so myself, wins this years Greatest Snobfan Award. They earned this honor by navigating to this page a total of two separate times, from two separate ip addresses (webmasters die for that kind of stuff), and viewed Anime Snobs for a grand total of 17 seconds before navigating away. And what a 17 seconds it was, enough to beat the rest of you miserable ingrates. Yes it was.
So way to go Singapore! Congrats on your award, and on your awesome secondary school system which I hear is one of the best in the region.
